Off to the mountians to beat the heat!
July 8th, 2008With it being so dang hot this weekend and we being the outside kind of family we where off to the mountains. Nothing compares to the mountains if you ask me, its nice and cool and green and no people! The beach is ok, but its pretty much all the same in So Ca shopping centers and houses, unless you go north or Oregon where the forest meets the oceans now that’s the best of both worlds, but your not going to jump in your car and drive there in less than an hour. So the local mountains it is. Its really crazy that we have such beautiful places left in So Ca with all the houses and buildings every where that a place like this still exists. So here are a few photos of us hiking around on this little stream we found.

Dash on a Skateboard for the First Time

We are excited to announce, this year the art show will be held at the
prestigious Riverside Art Museum in the historical downtown area of
Riverside.
On the night of July 12th, 2008, the art show will completely take over the
entire art museum, 3 floors, including special guests Matt Costa playing music on the roof (3rd floor) And Shepherd Fairey spinning records. The first two floors will display donated art from noted artists, available for purchase through silent auction bidding the night of the show.
It promises to be an event to remember giving the opportunity to raise
increased awareness and funding for Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.
Captain Paul Watson, founder of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, will be
the featured speaker, giving an update on what is happening globally with
oceanic conservation.
Dash turns 2 (well he did in Novemeber)
June 5th, 2008I know this has been a long time coming, but I’ve been busy and probably a little lazy 
but here are some pictures from Dash’s 2nd birthday party we had for him in November and a link to the video I put together that summerized his 2nd year of life. Lots of friends and family and funny moments.
We went all out for the “Thomas the Tank Engine” birthday party. Derric printed large banners that made our house look like a train station complete with Sir Topham Hatt, James, Percy and Thomas himself. We rented a train to give the parents and kids a ride through our neighborhood. And lastly we wrapped cardboard boxes with graphics to make them look like miniture trains the kids could put on and play with, it was a big hit. A beautiful sunny day to boot, could not have asked for more….
